Quick Prom Makeup Tips

Quick Cosmetic Tip ~

Most people feel that they have some sort of flaw when it comes to their facial features.. Whether it’s too small of eyes, too big of a nose, or an improperly placed mole, everyone can tell you something that they despise about themselves. Unfortunately, most people are looking at their flaws all wrong.

Instead of trying to hide your flaws, try to enhance them!

Make it your most striking feature.

If Cindy Crawford would have had her mole removed, like so many people advised her to do, she may not have been one of the most recognized models in the world today. Would her career have taken off as it has without the mole? No one can say for sure, but I highly doubt it. In short, empathize with your flaws and try to work with them. They may be your most recognizable feature. If you’ve tried everything and you still cannot stand one particular facial feature, try the following artist tips.

Don’t forget to keep in mind: Marilyn Monroe’s mole, Brook Shield’s eyebrows, Lauren Hutton’s teeth, Barbara Streisand’s nose, Whitney Houston’s mouth, Nicole Kidman’s pale skin, and Rosie O’Donnell’s weight.

Remember the actress, Jennifer Grey, from Dirty Dancing?  I’m sure you probably don’t. Most people cannot. She was an up-and-coming star until she has a nose job. Her nose distinguished her from others and once her nose looked just like everyone else’s nose, producers never really looked her way.

All in all, make-up does two things:

1) it camouflages your mistakes, and

2) it enhances your features.
