Reasons why

PROM HAIR GUIDE ADVERTISING PRINT

For 2008, we are offering Hair Solons the chance to advertise their prom hairstyles in our 'hot hair guide'. See example at right of page 31 of our guide.

Hair guide advertisers rate (for hot hair guide):
One Page: $6500. or possible trade out for services (contact Darla below)

Page is preset to look similar to the right. You have no control over the layout, only the photos used.

Production Requirements:
Layout stays as shown at right. Provide us with the following:
1) one 5x7 tif image of finished hair style. Background of photo must be in white. Photo will be cropped to 4.865" x 6.785".
2) two images showing the two steps in the making of this hairdo. Photos should be approximately (3" x 2.5") and (2." x 2.5") tif images. Photos will be cropped to approximately 2.717" x 2.341" and 1.958" x 2.487" respectively.
3) 3 written steps on how to perform this hairstyle. Written steps should be computer generated in (Macintosh) Quark Express 4.1.
4) your name or company name will be inserted on page (in location shown at left) - if wanted make-up artist may be listed on side of photo.


All photos should be saved as a .tif photo. 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Send all photos, logo, and written steps to us on a 3 ½" floppy or on a Zip disk (returned upon request if labeled with your address). CMYK color. at 100% of printing size. Images and words should be ready to print, flatten any layers in Photoshop.

Proofs: Laser proofs can be provided upon request for an additional $45.

Policies and Procedures:
1. All ads are prepaid with first insertion with check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card. There is a $20 service charge for all returned checks.
2. Make check or money orders payable to Prom Magazine Inc.
3. No cancellations accepted after first insertion.
4. All rates are subject to change.

Contracts and Conditions:
Publishers Copy Protective Clause: Advertisers assume all liabilities, wrongdoing, or mishaps pertaining to their entire ad (including but not limited to text, representation, and illustration). Advertisers assume responsibility for any claims arising there from and made against the publisher. Publisher reserves the right to reject any ad. Publisher will not be responsible or bound for any conditions, printed or otherwise appearing in advertisers ad. All advertisements are accepted and published upon the arrival of the ad in the publishers domain and the advertiser acknowledges that all materials are authorized to be used in Prom Magazine and will not violate and law in doing so. The Publisher shall not be subject to any liability whatsoever for any failure to publish or circulate all or any part of any issue or issues of Prom Magazine because of strikes, work stoppages, accidents, fires, acts of God or any other circumstances not within the control of the Publisher. We can only estimate our distribution for 2004. Statistics for 2003 will not arrive until Dec. of 2003 (this is after the closing date of 2004's issue) therefore, publisher cannot be held responsible for estimates on distribution. In case of miscalculations, we are therefore offering a first-time advertiser rate for the year of 2004 which is an extremely reasonable rate.
